Browsing Facebook, looking at commentary on the latest events in the USA, and there it is—a very honest and emotional poetic statement by a lady I've been following, accompanied by a beautiful yet bitter illustration. Her emotion touched me, and I decided to put it into music. A couple of hours later, Dusty & Wildfield have already offered their sensual voices to give Cynthia’s poetry a musical voice.
When Cynthia heard it, her response was the perfect reward for me: "This was incredible! Thank you so much. You put the biggest smile on my face!"
What more does a producer need to be happy? (Besides a platinum record, but you get my drift :D)

Ladies, sometimes we need this reminder. I’m worth more than a delayed message. I’m worth a text. I’m worth a phone call. I’m worth hearing a voice that actually wants to be present and talk. (She's worth hearing a voice!) And when someone shows me, over time, that I’m not a priority, I don’t ever get upset. I simply get bored and I move on I won't beg. I won't chase. (She won't chase!) I simply get bored and I move on When I feel ignored or neglected, I lose interest, then I choose myself. I simply get bored and I move on I won't ever fight for attention. I won't ever beg for effort. (She won't ever beg for effort!) I simply get bored and I move on... The moment is gone, and I’m holding my own.
